Spidey in Three Point

This was a three point perspective study with Spider-Man. I did it for a technical drawing class. It started with a design of a city corner done in orthographic top view, then it was translated into 3 point using some insane translation method with lots of rulers compases and paper. Then I drew/translated the buildings into perspective. After that I designed several different super heroes to go over the picture on layout paper. After getting the Spider-Man pose I wanted (in the middle of art history, when I should've been taking notes), I put graphite on the back of my building sheet and transfered them to a fresh sheet, and did the same with my spidey pose. I then copied it at kinkos onto a decent quality paper that I colored on with Tria markers.

Today In photoshop I croped the image so that it would print on a 11.7" x 16.5 (A3) epson paper for my friend's bday. I also masked out Spidey and desaturated/tweaked the background a bit, as well as change the color of the roof that was originally red and confusing by spidey's left foot, and the coloring on the buildings on the left.

*edit* wow I just noticed the lighting is way off on the building behind spidey (it's lit from the left...) but I"m too sleepy to fix it now... will fix in morning....
